Hi and welcome to Meet Your Match (MYM)!
​
MYM have been matching singles from August 2016 and hosted over 30 face-to-face ‘Speed Dating’ and ‘Singles Mixer’ events in both Hobart and Launceston. Speed Dating is a fun and exciting way to meet like-minded people who are genuine about finding a partner right for them in a safe and comfortable environment.
​
In a nutshell and a bit like musical chairs, Speed Dating gives you 6 minutes only to spend with each date. Sound short? That’s why it’s called Speed Dating! You also get to mingle with your dates and get to know them better during the free nibbles break and in the bar area after an event. Some daters like to extend their evenings by going out afterwards as a group.

Each single completes a match card as they move along their dates and receive a text the following day to learn if they’re received a mutual match. Singles mixer events may include meeting for dinner, catching live bands, doggie days out or even bare foot bowls!
​
My role is very rewarding as I aim to help connect singles who may find it challenging to meet single people as their lives change and move forward.
Given our Speed Dating and Singles Mixer events are held in safe environments and personal information is kept confidential, they not only provide the opportunity for multiple singles to meet in one night but does without the concern of security issues that may arise from online dating.

We do provide an online ‘Profiles’ service for members only and whereby any initial message of contact to another member is screened by myself to ensure credibility.
If you wish to become a member of MYM and list a personal profile, please complete our "Profile Registration Form". Once registration is complete, you will be given full access to fellow MYM member profiles and you can start saying hi!

​I do hope you take advantage of such a great service for the community. I have regular daters that come back to enjoy the events I plan, as they are a lot of fun and a fantastic way to meet people.
